Mission Statement

The Southeast Tech Foundation is committed to building a solid foundation for tomorrow’s workforce. Through community involvement, our workforce needs will be fulfilled by providing financial resources that allow our students to meet their potential.

On June 11th 2014, Southeast Tech welcomed their new Institutional Advancement Officer, Chellee Nemec. Chellee is a former Southeast Tech graduate with an associate’s degree in Business Administration. In 2014, she graduated with a BS in Management from the University of Sioux Falls and will graduate with an Executive Master of Public Administration degree from the University of South Dakota in 2016.

Prior to joining the staff of Southeast Tech, she was the Executive Director of Siouxland Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (Siouxland RSVP) sponsored by the Good Samaritan Society. In her career as a non-profit leader she has enjoyed success in creating profitable fundraising campaigns, grant writing, public speaking, volunteer management, and training volunteer managers. Chellee’s outstanding service to non-profit organizations earned her nationally recognition for being Presidential Award winner for fundraising two years in a row and co-founder of the Sioux Empire Adopt Initiative. Chellee has shared her talents by serving on the Sioux Empire Community Theater Board of Directors, Project Car Board of Directors, and South Eastern Council of Government Transportation Coordination Committee as a participant and the Transit Taskforce in conjunction with the City of Sioux Falls.

Chellee has been a Sioux Falls resident for the past 15 years, but originally grew up in Highmore SD. In her spare time she enjoys attending live music venues, golfing and has become known as a theme party guru.
