Services for Students
The following services are available to assist your student in their journey at Southeast Tech.
Students may purchase books, supplies and apparel in the newly renovated Southeast Tech Bookstore, located in the George S. Mickelson Center. School themed items are also available for purchase. Gift cards may be purchased through the bookstore and are always welcome – particularly during finals week! Check out the online bookstore!
The Scarbrough Daycare Center accommodates up to 84 children from infants to preschoolers and is competitively priced within the Sioux Falls area Call 605.367.8444 for more information.
Southeast Tech has a full-time job placement specialist on campus to assist students with employment. Check out the Jobs for Students page for additional information.
Southeast Tech provides free learning assistance to qualifying full and part-time students. These services include adaptive assistance for the deaf, physically impaired and learning disabled students. Free tutoring is also available for all Southeast Tech students. In addition, GED classes and testing are available. Call 605.367.5691 for more information.
Professional Counseling Services
Southeast Tech offers free counseling services to students. The services are limited to short-term counseling and involve issues such as: depression, eating disorders, motivation, relationships, roommate issues, anger management, and drug/alcohol to name a few. Students now have 24/7 access to their semester grades, financial aid, bill for their courses, unofficial transcripts, degree audit and much more available on the STINet! Students may login any time with their username and password. The username and password will not be given to parents, but the student may elect to share it with his or her parents if they choose to do so.
