Southeast Tech Campus

Southeast Tech's campus is located west of I-29 and just south of Maple/Russell Street in Sioux Falls, SD. It consists of seven buildings including: the George S Mickelson Center; the Terrence Sullivan Health/Science Center; the Ed Wood Trade & Industry Center; the Technology Center; the Scarbrough Child Care Center; Nicolay-Hummel and Andera Residence Halls; The HUB

1. George S. Mickelson Center

The George S. Mickelson Center was built in 1990. The flagship building of Southeast Tech's campus, it is the facility where students can access resources such as Admissions, the Student Success Center, and the Bookstore. It houses Business & Communications programs, Engineering Technology programs, and Early Childhood, including;

2. Terrence Sullivan Health/Science Center

The Terrence M. Sullivan Health/Science Center opened its doors in 1994. It is located to the south of the George S. Mickelson Education Center. It houses the medical technology programs, including:

3. Ed Wood Trade & Industry Center

Located on the southeast corner of campus, the Ed Wood Trade & Industry Center houses the Testing Center, along with industrial and technical trade programs, including:

  • Horticulture Technology
  • HVAC/R Technology
  • Landscape Design Technology

4. Southeast Technology Center


Located on the southwest side of campus, the Southeast Technology Center opened in the Spring of 2001. It houses the I.T. Support Center, along with technology programs including:

  • Computer Programming
  • Computer Technician
  • Electronics Technology
  • Information Technology Security
  • Mechatronics Technology
  • Network Administrator
  • Software Support Specialist
  • System Administrator
5. Student Housing


Southeast Tech’s on-campus apartments redefine campus living. Four bedroom, two bathroom apartments have large dine-in kitchens and spacious living rooms – a ‘common room’ with a big screen TV and game tables are perfect for down time. Located within walking distance from classes, this is an excellent way to meet new friends! Utilities, basic cable, basic phone and wireless internet are included in the very affordable rental fee. 6. Scarbrough Childcare Center


The Scarbrough Childcare Center is a licensed childcare center located on the campus of Southeast Tech. The Center accommodates up to 60 children from infants to school-agers and is competitively priced within the Sioux Falls area. Learn more here.

7. The HUB

The HUB opened the Fall of 2016. It is located to the south of the Technology Center and houses the expanded Automotive and Diesel Technology programs, administrative offices, the Business Office, auditorium and Paavo's Pizza and Grill.
