Mark Schmidt is an instructor in the Mechanical Engineering Technology department at Southeast Technical College. He began teaching in 2021.

Mark began his career working as a CAD drafter in Spartan Motors in Brandon. After a couple years as a drafter, he was promoted to a full designer position and was responsible for the design of custom fire apparatus.
