Admission Criteria

1 of the following:
  • HS GPA: 2.0 GPA - English “C” average or higher 
  • GED: 450 
  • ACT: 15 
  • ACT Math: 16 
  • SAT: 830
  • SAT Math: 430 
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA - Based on 12+ credits 
  • Professional Discretion 
If students do not meet one of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER: 
  • Writing: 240 
  • Arithmetic: 217

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical College's Network Administrator program requires students to purchase a Southeast Tech laptop from the IT Support Center.

Additional Technology Requirements

The following may be purchased in the Southeast Tech Bookstore:

  • USB 3.x 500GB minimum SSD hard disk (about $100)
  • USB 3.x 16GB minimum thumb drive (about $10)
  • USB to serial adapter for Cisco router / AP configuration (about $20)
  • Small PC repair tool kit (about $25)
