Admission Criteria

Two of the following:

HS GPA: 2.0
GED: Sub-scores ≥ 145
ACT: 18
SAT: 960
College GPA: 2.0 – Based on 9+ credits.

Students not meeting two of the above criteria are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER:

Quantitative reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS): 210
Writing: 230

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical College's Medical Coding: Professional and Facility program is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech I.T. Support Center.
