Accreditation: The Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) has authorized graduates of Southeast Tech’s Dental Assisting program to earn credentialing through DANB’s National Entry Level Dental Assistant (NELDA) certification program. Southeast Technical College graduates will be eligible to complete the three-part NELDA exam for certification.
At this time, the program is not approved and not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Southeast Tech is currently working on an application for accreditation through CODA and plans to submit this application for review by CODA in the future.
Clinical Experience: During the final semester of your STC program, you will complete a clinical placement to enhance your learning.
