exams, and training. Incoming Southeast Technical College students are licensed as
apprentice plumbers in South Dakota. Upon completion of the Plumbing program, a Southeast
Technical College graduate receives 1900 hours towards their journeyman license in
South Dakota. Southeast Technical College graduates can receive additional hours towards their South Dakota Journeyman License while working in different states. Those individuals can apply for and successfully test to receive their SD Journeyman License which is effective in SD, ND, Iowa and Minnesota. South Dakota has reciprocity with other states as long as they are on the Uniform Plumbing Code or International Plumbing Code." |
