    Sports Turf Students Prepare for 2020 State Amateur Baseball Tournament

    Southeast Tech students in the Sports Turf Management program are getting a taste of the minor leagues this fall as they help the City of Baltic prepare for the 2020 State Amateur Baseball Tournament. Mike Wendland, Baltic City Administrator and Economic Development Director, teamed up with Southeast Tech's Cory Borgen to put together a game plan for the improvements, and the students hit the fields.

    As more and more rural areas struggle to keep important medical positions filled, the need for educational programs in smaller towns becomes more important. Starting in January, students will be able to attend a year long Licensed Practical Nursing Program at the Southeast Technical Institute Huron Campus. It's the latest addition to the Registered Nursing Program already offered at the school.
