Benjamin Ringling is Southeast Technical College’s Horticulture Technology instructor and has been in the industry for nearly 20 years.
Throughout his career, Benjamin has worked in a variety of horticulture areas throughout the country. His college internship was at the prestigious Longwood Gardens outside of Philadelphia, Pa. After a brief stint as the property manager of Boundary Breaks Vineyard in central New York, he was the lead horticulturist for the city of Valparaiso, Ind. He has been in Sioux Falls for the past several years working as the head horticulturist at Minnehaha Country Club.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture Science from the South Dakota State University and is currently working towards his Master of Education at the University of Sioux Falls.
Benjamin enjoys going on adventures with his family in the great outdoors. He loves vegetable gardening and dabbling in the world of pickling and canning salsa.
