Ginger Peterson is a seasoned Surgical Technologist with a wealth of experience spanning two decades in the healthcare sector. Commencing their career as a Surgical Technologist in 2004, Ginger has consistently demonstrated a passion for excellence and a commitment to advancing patient care.

In their early career, Ginger honed their skills at Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital, a renowned institution in healthcare. Specializing in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) surgery, they quickly became a trusted expert in their domain. Their expertise and dedication were evident as they not only performed surgeries with precision but also actively contributed to the training and development of their peers and new hires.

Recognizing their potential to shape the future of surgical technology, Ginger transitioned to an instructional role at Southeast Technical College in 2022. Joining the esteemed institution, they assumed the position of Surgical Technology Lab Specialist, where they leverage their extensive experience to educate and mentor aspiring surgical technologists.
