Jason Steinmetz

Jason Steinmetz has been Diesel Technology instructor at Southeast Technical College since 2020.

He started his 20-year diesel career working for the No. 1 transportation district in the country, Regional Transportation District, in Denver, Colo. He started as a diesel general repair mechanic and later climbed the ladder to specialize in quality control, where he helped with new bus implementations. He worked on an elite team to ensure all procedures were maintained properly and was highly sought after with specialized, hard-to-diagnose issues.

Jason and his wife, Kellie, currently reside in Canton with their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing and boating in local waters.
