This position is responsible for lab and/or lecture instruction and clinical oversight for students in the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) course. Responsible for developing, delivering, and enhancing well prepared courses and relevant assignments; providing fair assessment of student learning through feedback and grading; and supporting academic success for all students. The search for this position is ongoing for the Sioux Falls, South Dakota, campus location, and applicants for adjunct positions will be contacted as needed. EOE.

Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Registered Nursing (RN) or Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) required.
  • Instructor: Minimum of two years of nursing experience required.
  • Lab Assistant: Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
  • One year of experience preferred in long-term care as an RN.
  • Current, unencumbered, RN or LPN license required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of specific discipline and instructional needs of technology college students.
  • Experience teaching post-secondary instruction preferred.
  • Availability to teach day, evening, and weekend courses.
  • Post-hire criminal background check required.
  • Post-hire requirement to obtain South Dakota post-secondary teacher credential.
Lump Sum Salary course assignments are based on highest degree in field:
Doctoral:                                  $890 per credit hour
Masters:                                   $840 per credit hour

$20.00-$35.00 per hour

This position provides excellent customer service to process food orders at the campus restaurant, Paavos Pizza and Grill.

Job Duties:
  • Greet and assist customers as they enter the restaurant.
  • Ensure all orders are processed and delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
  • Accept cash and return the correct change.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
  • Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the work shift.
  • Clean and arrange service, eating, and kitchen spaces.
  • Assist other staff as needed.
Job requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good mathematical skills.

Great starting wage, team atmosphere, and hours. Monday- Friday. Hours may vary from 8 am- 2:30 pm. No weekends or holidays.

  • Prepare specialty foods such as burgers, chicken, and fries that require a short preparation time.

IT Support Center Coordinator, Full-time
This staff position is responsible to manage the day-to-day operations and the staff at the Campus IT Support Center. Provide outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness within established policies and procedures. Frequent contact with customers, direct reports, and peers. Position open until filled.
