Early Childhood Program, Scarbrough Center, attend WOW Conference
Students from the Southeast Technical College Early Childhood program and Scarbrough
Center staff attended the Sioux Falls WOW event Jan. 28 at the Washington Pavilion.
The conference attendees included over 400 early childhood professionals from across
the state. STC students engaged in volunteer opportunities, a poster session as well
as the opportunity to be part of a workshop entitled “Embracing Child-Led Play” by
Denita Dinger. Scarbrough Center staff Tami Skorczewski and Robin Sjogren, played
key roles in organizing the event. It was a great day of learning, networking and
fun!
