Students Pack Lunches at Lunch is Served

Students in Laura Cruse’s English classes recently volunteered at Lunch is Served, a non-profit organization with a unique mission of delivering sack lunches for working men and women who are attempting to break the chains of poverty and hunger.

Sixty-seven students wrote notes of encouragement for the lunch recipients, and six students - Olivia Lupkes, Rachel Hovdenes, Chris Radcliffe, Katelyn Nelson, Jordan Zingler and Steven Thulin – were on-site to help assemble the sack lunches. In total, the group generated 23 community service hours.
