  • CIS 180 - Windows Server OS - 4 Credit Hours
SPRING SEMESTER
  • MATH 100 - College Math - 3 Credit Hours
  • ENGL 100 - Communication in the Workplace - 3 Credit Hours OR
    • ENGL 101T - Composition - 3 Credit Hours
  • CIS 130 - Introduction to Programming - 3 Credit Hours
  • CIS 160 - Linux Administration - 4 Credit Hours
  • CIS 171 - Introduction to Networking - 4 Credit Hours

Admission Criteria  

1 of the following:
  • HS GPA: 2.0 GPA - English “C” average 
  • GED: 450 
  • ACT: 15 
  • ACT Math: 16 
  • SAT: 830–870 
  • SAT Math: 430 
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA - Based on 12+ credits 
  • Professional Discretion 
If students do not meet one of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER:
  • Writing: 240 
  • Arithmetic: 217

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical Institute's Computer Technician program requires students to purchase a Southeast Tech laptop from the IT Support Center.
