Admission Criteria

1 of the following: 
  • HS GPA: 2.5 GPA - Algebra I and II “C” average or better
  • GED: 550
  • ACT: 17
  • ACT Math: 17
  • SAT: 920 - 950
  • SAT Math: 470
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA - Based on 12+ credits
  • Professional Discretion
If students do not meet one of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER: 
  • Writing: 240 
  • Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics (QAS): 216

Southeast Technical Institute's Mechatronics program requires students to purchase a Southeast Tech laptop from the IT Support Center.
