Admission Criteria  

One Standard College Entrance Exam Score: 
  • ACT: 20 
  • SAT: 1030
 And, Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS*):
*TEAS is not required with ACT Math and Reading Subscores of 21 or higher. 
  • Math: 62 
  • Reading: 73 
 
And, One of the Following: 
  • HS GPA: 3.0 GPA 
  • HS coursework: English, Math & Science: B Average 
  • GED: 550 
  • College GPA: 2.5 GPA - Based on 16+ credits

Clinical Affiliation
Students will be placed in a clinical affiliation for 7 months in medical centers across the U.S. If a student does not complete specialty sonography classes in three consecutive semesters, Southeast Tech will determine whether courses must be repeated before enrolling in clinical.

 

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical Institute's Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech Support Center.
