High school students 16 and older can earn college credit and earn up to $5,000 a summer learning horticulture and sports turf management skills on the job with local professionals.

Four College Credits
With the Horticulture Career Academy at Southeast Technical College, you will earn four college credits that count toward an associate degree in Horticulture Technology or Sports Turf Management.
- HT 111 – Horticulture Science – 2 credits
- HT 111L – Horticulture Science Lab - 2 credits
High school students may be able to enroll in the Horticulture Career Academy as a Dual Credit student and receive high school credit in addition to college credit. The Admissions office can provide additional information on this option.
