Have you or anyone you know been in a fender bender? Do you look at a damaged car or truck and reimagine how it should look after the repair? If you’re looking for a great career in repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles, get to where you want to be in just two years with a Collision Repair and Refinish degree or diploma from Southeast Tech. As a Collision Repair and Refinish Technician, you’ll repair everything from a dented bumper to an almost total wreck. You’ll learn how to give estimates, cover auto body electrical circuit and air conditioning basics, repair auto bodies, refinish auto bodies and align auto frames.

Mike has been a member of the Southeast Tech team since 2000, and had 23 years of industry experience before teaching.

He holds certifications in: PPG Delton, PPG Global, PPG Enviobase, and PPG Vocational Instructor’s certification. He also has ASE Refinish certification, OSHA Career Safe, and many I-Car certifications.
Mike believes that every student has the propensity to learn regardless of his or her background and strives to facilitate a learning environment that is hands on collaborative.

Micah started working at Southeast tech in July of 2013. In 2009 he received his Associates in Applied Science Degree with an emphasis in Auto Body Repair and Refinish Technology from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

Before he became the Collision Repair and Refinish Lab specialist at Southeast Tech he was the lead Paint Technician for Bernie’s Body and Glass in Watertown, South Dakota. Micah also owns and operates Giebler Auto Glass, a small business providing automotive glass repair and replacement.

Education: AAS, North Dakota State College of Science; PPG Paint Certifications, PPG Vocational Education-Phase II Course, Dow Automotive Systems Certification, Hybrid Aftermarket Training, 3M Plastic Repair and Panel Bond Certification.

Dana Davis is Southeast Tech’s newest instructor in the Collision Repair & Refinish Technology program. He started in January 2019. Dana has 24 years in the collision industry, having spent 12 years as a collision technician and 12 years as a manager. He is also a Southeast Tech graduate and earned his AAS in Collision Repair in 1995.

His hobbies are camping and traveling with his family, hunting and fishing with his kids.

Education: AAS in collision repair, ASE and I-CAR certifications.
