Southeast Technical College Policies
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Your student records and information are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
The student handbook outlines academic policies, procedures and important dates and timelines while a student is enrolled at Southeast Technical College.
Students are expected to attend all sessions of courses for which they are enrolled. Instructors will provide policies concerning course attendance and the ability to make up missed work on their course syllabi or in program handbooks.
Refund eligibility is determined by three dates: class start date, class end date and the date a student formally drops or withdraws from a class.
Southeast Tech prohibits discrimination in its policies, employment practices, programs and activities on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, age, gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, disability, national origin or ancestry, military/veteran status, genetic information or any other category protected by law.
Student Complaints and Concerns
You have a right to make your voice heard. Students with concerns or complaints are welcome to use one of STC's reporting mechanisms to get in touch with someone who can help.
